So in this case you might tried to uninstall idm and want to install from new but every time when you do so still idm existing message come out and you have very bad luck. This problem occur do to registry file existing to your system. Even you remove it but registry values stop you to install a new idm. To completely remove idm you have to uninstall idm and then need to delete all the shortcuts and registry keys. So follow the steps below for removing idm completely I was trying several method to remove registry but every time it shows the failure notice. Go to google.com and download IObit Uninstaller 2. After this use this software to remove idm using advanced option. While doing this process do not restart your PC.
Now check for left over item and delete all the keys.
Even you remove idm but it is still existing in system registry. Here Is How to remove from Registry:
Windows registry by click Start > > Run or it could be on the keyboard press the windows + R button
1. Type regedit in the Run windows and click OK or press enter on keyboard
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > > SOFTWARE > > Internet Download Manager
3. Remove Internet Download Manager folder and its contents, then exit from registry
Okay if you followed All those method and still failed then try this tiny software which is called unregister idm. Its a rar file. After download, extract it and run the Unregister.IDM. It will changes the registry values successfully. Now you will need to reboot your computer. After following all these method i had get rid of idm fake version. Now i am using trail version for 30 days. In this method i don’t need to format my entire hard disk at all. Just use Unregister.IDM and install idm again.

After removing idm you can reinstall it again for 30 days and continue using idm for long time for free.
