How to Repair or Fix Hard Disk Bad Sector

Yesterday I chat with one of my Facebook Friends Rony Barmon.He wanted to set up windows xp.But he was unable to set up windows at all so He asked for helped to me.I told him a lot of reason for not set up windows, one of was Hard Disk Bad Sector.I told him to check his Hard disk for bad Sector.Today I am going to share with  you what is Hard Disk Bad Sector and How to check or Fix it?

What is Bad Sector?

A bad sector is a sector on a computer’s disk drive or flash memory that cannot be used due to permanent damage (or an OS inability to successfully access it), such as physical damage to the disk surface or failed flash memory transistors. It is usually detected by a disk utility software such as CHKDSK or SCANDISK on Microsoft systems, or badblocks on Unix-like systems. When found, these programs mark the sectors unusable (all file systems contain provision for bad-sector marks) and the operating system skips them in the future.

5.Error – checking >Check Now
6.Select Automatically fix file system errors and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors
7.start
Now you are done.This will check drive size and any if  Error if found automatically fix it when pc will restarted.}
